Eddie The Eagle
Re: Eddie The Eagle
I went with my brother to this film and I have to say I loved it so I am sure it will be very successful. There seemed to be lots of free preview tickets for this, it was the only film I have seen with lots of tickets. I am sure the word of mouth will make it a success.

Re: Eddie The Eagle
Enjoyed the film had the opportunity to see it twice at Wimbledon on a Sunday Morning and on Monday at Stratford Vue with a friend. I can relate to the film as I remember Eddie the Eagle in the 80`s and he was seen as a laughing stock but did not give up.

Re: Eddie The Eagle
Thanks to elski, at the eleventh hour went to the premiere last week at Leicester Square Odeon. Nice to see Hugh Jackman in the flesh again, and Taron Egerton and especially Eddie Edwards attending the premiere. He gave a very emotional intro - see it here: https://youtu.be/nf2jfq96uc8
Just as good on a second viewing, great to see the two stars in the roles again. A very, very uplifting and emotional story.
We met him in the foyer afterwards with his two little girls who were getting quite unsettled by all the attention their dad is getting, and clinging to him.

Re: Eddie The Eagle
Really good film. I didn't quite appreciate the actual struggles Eddie the Eagle went through to compete in his sport and this film portrays this perfectly. Taron Egerton and Hugh Jackman were very funny and I genuinely enjoyed the film.
