I get an instant alert for this thread, whereas free films appears to be a bit hit and miss.

Same problem as always for me. Getting alerts for other threads but nothing from the FF section.

Subscribed to by hundreds of people that contribute nothing. Leads me to think it's not worth sharing codes comps etc if I don't even make it onto the list to receive email alerts my efforts.

I do what I can with regular culls. I don't know what to do about the general bandwidth problem, really sorry.

I'm with you Elksi. You post so much that helps all of us out and you get nothing. I know you do it because you are a nice caring and generous person but I agree it's terribly unfair that people like you who contribute so much to the site miss out and others who contribute the grand sum of zilch get all the tickets.

I live in Birmingham and only get the ODD offer from SFF my case I last received a screening offer over 3 months ago !!
I query this with SFF only to told its all sent out automatically and to check my preferences (I've requested to be told how to this as there are no obvious shortcuts)
So how do people like me get to put stuff on if we don't get any ?
We depend on people like yourselves to put offers on so get something
So please don't stop

There's hundreds of threads you could contribute to! You don't have to find a code or a competition, but write a review when you see a film, pa*d or free, or contribute to a topic on General Discussion. People don't have to stay lurking just because they don't get too many previews!

Not sure how others posting or not on other subjects is relevant to people not receiving email alerts.

This is not down to a person deciding who gets the alerts, we know it is down to a server issue. Beate deals with this as best she can with little tech knowledge.

What people decided to share on here is up to them but frankly it still won't change the problem that some of suffer at times.
