What an absolute blast, literally! If you saw John Wick 1, you knew more or less what you were expecting... insane fight sequences, lots or killing and lack of dialogue. However there were some great one-liners and once again great cameos from Ian McShane and Lance Reddick.

John's prep sequence in Rome was brilliant and hilarious.

I was a huge fan of the first John Wick movie and purchased the Blu-ray first say of release.
If you enjoyed the first one when you will enjoy this one. More of the same but kicked up a gear. I enjoyed hearing and see more of the world these characters live in but like a lot of other comments on here, i am now terrified that every other person on the streets is an assassin!

Looks like I'm the only one who found this incredibly boring.

Keanu (even more wooden than usual) shooting dozens and dozens of faceless cannon fodder in the head just wasn't that interesting, like watching someone play a first person shooter game.

All the characters keep building up Wick as some kind of ultimate hitman and then he just keeps stumbling into gangs of heavies and then fighting his way out, he's certainly no Leon. But it doesn't matter because he seems to be indestructible, immune to getting shot or run over.

I only stayed for the first hour, but based on that 3/10

Loved it. At least as good as the first one. The choreography for the "gunplay" and fighting was superb and very entertaining to watch. It was also beautifully shot, with a good soundtrack and some surpisingly funny moments too. Easy watch and an entertaining way to spend a couple of hours.

8.5/10

I liked John Wick 1 due to the intrigue about who John Wick was and who the thugs were that killed his dog and stole his car, what happened to his wife, why people were scared of him, what he was going to do to the thugs etc. The violence and stories about the pencil were good however as there was no intrigue left for John Wick 2, it left good directing and violence. I actually fell asleep during all the noise for a few minutes here and there. I actually love an action film; I'd still recommend it but there's very little intrigue and I think it needed a bit 6/10

Early visit to Odeon today to see John Wick 2 using my Limitless Card. I must admit I found the story to be lacking but the action was very dramatic. Think there must have been more shots fired in this than Hacksaw Ridge! Some good shooting but some very poor shots too.

I found myself counting the people on the Train who appeared and disappeared to be so funny . . .I could almost hear the voice over when it appears in the movie mistakes
It would appear obvious that there will be a 3rd film but don't think I'd p*y to see it . . .nor this one.

indeed this film lived up to my expectation of a stylish action movie with minimum plot and action sequence on mass.. loved it.. i lvoed the touching references to The Matrix as well the character meet-up. Of course there will be a 3rd movie and it will probably be more of the same..

Hadn't seen the first one, so lacked some of the backstory, but as big dumb cinematic shoot-em-ups go, it was a very enjoyable one. Ian MacShane clearly enjoyed making it.
