Re: Gifted
I really enjoyed this nice family film, without bad language etc. Thought Mkenna Grace was fantastic and so natural...definitely going to see a lot more of her in upcoming films.
Yes predictable but still worth a watch. 8/10

Re: Gifted
Saw this at Wimbledon Odeon. A charming film about six-year-old Mary (McKenna Grace), a maths prodigy who was caught up in a tug-of-war between her Uncle Frank (Chris Evans), who wanted her to have a normal childhood and her grandmother (Lindsay Duncan) who wanted to hothouse her. It reminded me a bit of “I am Sam”, a different plot, but where we watched Dakota Fanning in a similar tug-of-war situation. At time I remember thinking that Dakota Fanning was “one to watch” – similarly I think we will be seeing a lot more of Mckenna Grace in the future. 7/10

Re: Gifted
It was such a great film and not at all a Hollywood cookie story like I thought it would be! Chris Evans was simply amazing and Mckenna Grace was beyond believable. A solid 10/10 I think.
Re: Gifted
It was a good movie. It wasn't bad, it wasn't exceptional, it was just a pretty good movie. However the little girl who played Mary was amazing. Chris Evans played a lovely character and it as really easy to get behind him. The one eyed cat was cute and Yes I did cry in a couple of places....

Re: Gifted
Predictable but well done and a lovely watch. Absolutely adored the one-eyed cat! Also wondered what happened to the other cats he rescued!! :-) The acting was very good, the story nice and definitely watchable and I really enjoyed the film.
