I concur that its a bit shabby, especially at the beginning, though the last third of the movie is more classic Kingsman.

Even egMax didnt really help, apart from one or two large scenes. More like a Johnny Eglish movie than a Kingsman sequel. Poppy was fun though.

I know its a spoof with lots of silly unbelievable scenes....but ...as if Embrace are ever going to play Glasto again.
fav 5 films of the year - Tenet, Bill n Ted 3, Invisible Man, JoJo Rabbit, ?

Ha ha, with all the outlandish, over the top things in the film this probably is one step too far, it's always tricky putting real acts in films reminds me a bit of Skunk Anansie in Strange Days and Macy Gray in Spiderman.

I actually really enjoyed the film. Matthew Vaughn has ignored or possibly risen to any criticism about the first film and then just just turned everything up to 11. It's violent, filled with stereotypes, offensive and has more Bond references than Austin Powers or even Bond, especially the newer ones. And even though it's naturally not as fresh second time round, it's still not like any other films out there, which is surely a good thing.

I guess a good indicator of if you're on board is your reaction to the extended pop cameo near the end. A lot of critics have complained that this is indulgent and surely once was enough, but I laughed every time he was on screen, even 3rd, 4th time round. With this film more is definitely more. 8.5/10

Entertaining enough but about half an hour too long and nowhere near as good as the first one
