Les Miserables. With elephants.
Very musically. Little substance to a story. Huge Ackman is a better singer than Zakeff Ron though.
7/10

Cineworld Unlimited is cheating! ;-)

I loved this film. There’s not much of a story to it but still a lovely lighthearted film. The music was really good it had me dancing in my seat. I would go watch this again.

Really didn't enjoy this film, wanted to leave after first 10 minutes but stayed to give it the benefit of doubt and tired to get into the spirit. A great performance from ZE, but for me this was the only redeeming feature. Interesting reading that others really enjoyed it, but for me it's 2/10.

Loved the film. . .great for viewing on these dark winter evenings. Hugh Jackman was very good as P.T.Barnum and told a little part of the foundation of the travelling circus. I really must Google the story plus tgat of his relationship with Jenny Lind . . .I'm curious.
I will almost certainly see this again once it's released.
Marks 9/10
Note: definitely seems to be a Marmite film . . .love it or hate it!
Preferred cinemas: Best: Glasgow Quay, Glasgow Braehead, Glasgow Renfield Street, Glasgow Fort & Paisley

I saw the costumes from the film on display in Buenos Aires earlier this month (I'm not sure why exactly they were there, that wasn't clear!) and I quite liked the trailer so was looking forward to this. However after reading your reviews and knowing I absolutely hated Les Mis, I'm now not so sure.....

Loved, loved, loved this film. Great music, uplifting story and Hugh Jackman is always a bonus.
The dancing and Soundtracks really got me tapping and my daughter had downloaded the soundtrack before we left the car park. Played the tunes on the way home and agreed it had been a great night at the movies.
