Re: Weight Watchers
Tried the teaspoon of cumin in a pot of yogurt after my meal last night ejwrank. It tasted fine although it did mask the strawberry taste. Thought I might be up during the night to get rid of it!! but no I am fine and I liked the taste so will give it a whirl for the next couple of weeks and see if there is any good reason to continue after that.

Re: Weight Watchers
I have lost 4lbs this week so I am very happy
The spinning classes you are sight on the bike then stood up peddling then leaning forward, then backwards then doing semi press ups but our expert will fill us in I am sure.
Have a bit of free time today so going to do some batch cooking - I am working but will be finished by 4.30pm. Going to make a vegetable chilli and a chorizo stew (never tried making this before but Zoe from work gave me the recipe so giving it a go and I will let you know how I get on) so can freeze up a few portions.
Have a fun day everyone

Re: Weight Watchers
Me: Alexa, do you think I need to lose weight?
Alexa: Only you know the true answer to that question.

Woohoo - That's fantastic Diane Very Well Done!Diane65 wrote:I have lost 4lbs this week so I am very happy
What a great start to your WW journey to the "new you". Those gym visits and your new sensible eating regime are really p*ying off. I think you've earned your intended Jam Roly Poly as a reward.

He told me he also wasn't completely clear but thought it had to do with sitting on stationary bikes that are weighted so not easy to pedal whilst the instructor roamed about the room and screamed things like "Faster, faster, faster" and then a bit later screamed "Slow, slow, slow" -- now does that sum it up properly or not?
Ladies, both those interpretations of what spinning classes are like are so near perfect as to need no further comment from me.Diane65 wrote:The spinning classes you are sight on the bike then stood up peddling then leaning forward, then backwards then doing semi press ups but our expert will fill us in I am sure.
I've had a mixed day today - some good; my 2 spinning classes - some bad; the 6 individual Mr Kipling Bakewell Slices that I ate in one sitting as a mid afternoon snack

Re: Weight Watchers
https://www.bbc.co.uk/food/recipes/chic ... rizo_36240 I had this for dinner last night and it's absolutely delicious and don't need anything with it. As cooking for 1 (DD doesn't eat food like this ) I am having the same tonight plus as had b*ght a chorizo sausage and a bag of kale I had way too much so I gave some to my next door neighbours as doesn't freeze with kale in it.
https://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/175 ... ean-chilli I also made this and once again it said served 4 but 100% it was enough for 10 people. I have frozen 5 for myself and gave the rest to the neighbours - they are fabulous neighbours and have been up for the last 2 nights with a poorly baby so saves them cooking and me looking like a chilli.
Preston1990 and Mr Kipling what can I say? Excellent re the spinning
I am at a meeting tonight until 9.30pm so glad that I have my meal already prepared as otherwise would start eating rubbish
Have a fun day everyone

Re: Weight Watchers
Hi all, not been on this thread in a few days so I have some reading to catch up on!
I've managed to lost 5 lbs since 27th Dec, so I'm pleased about that (although I'm not quite sure how it happened! I've been conscious of eating/snacking less, so I guess that's the reason). Still need to improve body clock (I write this at 4am...been awake since 3pm this afternoon). I managed to achieve this for around a week at the end of December - need to try to do it again. I know that a routine of body clock / breakfast, lunch & dinner times will help me in the weight loss!
