Game Night

A very sharp, clever, mad cap, funny, comedy thriller. Extremely good cast, and each couple has great chemistry. Very entertaining. 8/10

Much funnier than I had anticipated. There were hilarious scenes that had me laughing so much that my sides ached. 8.5/10

Perhaps I was looking forward to this too much as I loved Horrible Bosses and this promised more of the same. But alas, the chemistry of the ensemble acting was not as sharp in this. I laughed throughout but can’t help feeling disappointed. A good film but I felt it could have been better. 7/10

Very enjoyable movie good few laughs. My only downside was where they were trying to put a twist in the movie you could already guess where it was going. Although not to give too much away on plane the twist part there about what was going on that one I didn't read so easy lol.

Much more laugh out loud funny than I expected. I really enjoyed this. Good cast that gelled well together.

Laughed out loud a ridiculous amount of times during this, which is the best you can hope for from a comedy. It's certainly funnier than something that's by the screenwriter of The Country Bears and Herbie Fully Loaded has any right being.
Definitely impressed by Rachel McAdams knack for comedy shining through the more established comic talent, though plenty of laughs from Jason Bateman, Sharon Horgan, Billy Magnussen and New Girl's Lamorne Morris too. A wonderfully creepy comic turn from Jesse Plemons and some decent cameos also.
I'm now more curious than I was before to see what directors John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein make of the DC movie Flashpoint.
Shame about the mass of people who walked out during the first part of the end credits though, considering the amount of detail that went into it (favourite bit - Philadelphia).
Plus there was only three of us there for the post credits scene.
So go see it and stay to the end.
Great fun.

Funnier than expected but also some scenes incredibly far fetched. Budget Matt Damon steals the show as the creepy cop neighbour. 7/10

Amusing, but I didn't find it as funny as some people did.

I don't think they made the most of the mix up between the real world and what they thought was happening unlike something like Three Amigos or Galaxy Quest, but it was ok 6/10

was fun. Some scenes very reminiscent of Horrible Bosses, though not quite as solid as that.
fav 5 films of the year - Tenet, Bill n Ted 3, Invisible Man, JoJo Rabbit, ?
