Truly can’t put into words just how disappointing this film is. Word hasn’t been great about the film for a while, but there is absolutely nothing in this film that’s good, even Tom Hardy who is normally great, lacks personality & charisma. Villain is dull. CGI is naff and battle at the end is a CGI mess.

As every other review has stated, AVOID.

The final after credits scene was the best thing about it. And not really part of it. I went in with low expectations so thought it was passable.

meh, but picks up when Venom finally turns up at which point it really another of those misfit buddy-buddy cop movies. 3D was alright so I dont why 3d's only being marginally screened. Tom Hardy's latest completely unsuitable accent appears to be taken from the airhead heavy metal cop recruit in the Police Academy films.

missed opportunity. Not sure why they didnt 3d the imax version, but then I dont tihnk this delivers enough smackdown for an IMAX release, the "big" scenes are the last ten minutes, plus the opening with the spacecraft.

Listening to Radio2 earlier on, they had come cinema buff in who mentioned there was a mass walkout in the screening somewhere in London, was meant to be some kind of premiere with the director and a couple of stars present, but 3/4 of the audience had left around halfway mark, after the film a Q&A with director was meant to take place too.

Can see why, awful film, even Hardy who is excellent is really bad.

If you haven’t already seen it try and catch Upgrade, the story’s very similar to Venom and Grey Trace could be Tom Hardys brother.

Oh yes saw that at frightfest. Much more gory though but also funnier. And probably made for a fraction on the budget of Venom.

No need to worry, Venom, as you are clearly one here too. What a shambles 2/10

Average, not as good as other Marvel films. I was expecting much more with this. Story could have been so much better so it's a 6/10.
