Brilliant. I thought this was going to be another boring biopic about US politics, perhaps with a bit of humour courtesy of Steve Carol and Will Ferret, but I was so impressed with this. The well known characters looked amazing with their various prosthetics and are virtually convincing. A lot of the details of US politics were lost on me - I start to snore at the mere mention of the House of Representatives... but the sheer wit and unique story telling mechanisms make this a joy. Great use of the fourth wall and quite a few surprises.
Highly recommended.

Saw this over the weekend. Great performances all round, Christian Bale in particular is barely recognisable as the puppet master Cheney. 8/10! If you like House of Cards you will like this film.

An excellent betrayal of such an important time in both us and uk political history.

A superb performance by Christian bale, which is never a surprise.

supporting roles were also great!
