Went to see this on 6/3/19 at Enfield. Enjoyed every min although there were always going to similarities to Doc Martin as it's filmed in Port Isaac. A feel-good movie with lots of Cornish sea shanties. Worth checking out the real Fishmans Friend story as it's a rather sad story.

Recommend viewing.

Lovely, feelgood, heartwarming story of a group of fisherman's rise to fame, singing sea shanties.

Did not know it was based on a true story. They were in the top 10 apparently! The location looked familiar too, and it is no wonder, as it is used for the fictitious Portwenn in Doc Martin.

Some loopholes, but if you overlook that, and the romance, it's a enjoyable watch.

I saw this last week and enjoyed it much more than I thought I would. It was a tad predictable but still quite amusing and a nice feel good factor. Agree with what others have said, that there are a lot of films out now based on true stories. However, I think that makes it more entertaining.

To be honest, the film /the plot was soooo boring.
