Shazam

If you're going to see Shazam there's a mid and end credit scene.

It would be great if someone could explain what the mid-credit scene is about

was ok, but fight scenes were too extrapolated so the film was too long. I was expecting more but then I am a connoisseur of kid superhero stories (hitgirl/kickass/The Cape/Superior) so I was expecting more of a plot.
fav 5 films of the year - Tenet, Bill n Ted 3, Invisible Man, JoJo Rabbit, ?

Not a big DC fan to be honest, so to me this movie was exactly what I was expecting it to be from its trailer: not bad, but nothing wow either.

I enjoyed it SHAZAM! (the original Captain Marvel) far more than the marvel version, its was mainly light-hearted which is the new DCU, but I would agree slightly too long, mid-credit scene far better than the end one

Enjoyable for the most part but not memorable at all. Better than most recent DC movies but that's not saying much. No idea what the mid-credit scene is about either as the original poster points out. 2/5.
Upcoming films want to see;
Top Gun Maverick
MI 7 & 8
The Many Saints of Newark
Ghostbusters : Afterlife

Best films seen recently;
Tenet
Once Upon A Time In Hollywood
In The Heights
A Quiet Place 2

Really enjoyed this . . . great fun, action film probably best for kids aged 10+ even though it has a 12 rating. I could happily watch it again!

I was excited after seeing all the positive reviews. But after watching the film last night, I was disappointed. Young Billy and adult Billy/Shazam felt like 2 different people, CGI was poor and there was very little action. But there were still a few positives. I thought the casting was great and the chemistry between Billy and his family was nice.

I wouldn’t recommend watching this film unless you are watching with younger kids.
