Terminator Dark Fate
Love the first two T films, the ones that followed are all forgettable especially the god awful Salvation one from McG, even Bale is trying to disown. The new one is a tad better than the those, not a patch on the first 2, but has some ok moments, an ok time at the cinema, some fun but forgettable. 2.5/5
Upcoming films want to see;
Top Gun Maverick
MI 7 & 8
The Many Saints of Newark
Ghostbusters : Afterlife
Best films seen recently;
Tenet
Once Upon A Time In Hollywood
In The Heights
A Quiet Place 2

Re: Terminator Dark Fate
Watched this yesterday at the Everyman in Canary Wharf. Average 6/10, was expecting a better story as James Cameron co wrote it. Think this franchise has run it's course.

Re: Terminator Dark Fate
Saw this tonight as an alternative to being at home and having guisers come to the door for Hallowe'en. I can't really make commentcabout this film against previous Terminator films as I can't remember them in detail. I did find the film a rollercoaster of events and just wjen I thought it was reaching a conclusion something else happened.
Marks 7/10
ps The ending definitely suggested another film to follow

Re: Terminator Dark Fate
I enjoyed this film and I liked how hard it was for the Terminator to be defeated. One of the best de-aging I’ve seen in a film too. 7/10

Re: Terminator Dark Fate
not often bad, but not often good. Nothing really new apart from one action scene. Its just T3 again really but with a schizoid semblance of a path between being a sequel and a reboot, yet being neither well enough.
Linda and Arnie were ok though, the older actors have got better as is usual in these franchises.
Some good fx but crap ones too. They shrunk deaged eddie furlong to tyrion lannister size, looked plain daft.
Am now going to try and work out some way in my head to fit this continuity into the other movies and tv series. no sleep tonight.
you know on reflection, RoTM was better. Franchise is dying fast.
