Not a rom-com fan but was looking forward to this one... until the reviews started coming out
Expected a fluffy Xmas film and that’s what it was, but there is nothing clever or remotely interesting. Zero chemistry between the leads, has Emilia Clarke actually acted well I’d much?!
Disappointing even for a cheesy Xmas film.
1.5/5
Upcoming films want to see;
Top Gun Maverick
MI 7 & 8
The Many Saints of Newark
Ghostbusters : Afterlife
Best films seen recently;
Tenet
Once Upon A Time In Hollywood
In The Heights

I enjoyed it for what it was, wasn't expecting the twist with henry goldings character it did also have heart and a message.

I actually rather enjoyed this film . . . I think I was just in the mood for something with good music and a nice wee story. I'd happily watch it again if I needed a wee lift of mood.

As a lover of rom-coms I knew I would like this film, but a WOW I absolutely loved it.
I thought it was gonna be a predictable Christmas story with lots of wham songs shoved in.
But I was wrong!
A fabulous cast and excellent storyline that is a first, and I can’t stop thinking about it.
