MIB International

#1 Post by tonethestone » Wed Jun 12, 2019 6:53 pm

Seem to be on a bad run of watching films (B Rhapsody, Aladdin, Dark Phoenix & others :cry: and sadly the run isn’t over. It isn’t awful but it’s nowhere near the original and like Aladdin, Avengers Endgame, Dark Phoenix it heavily relies on naff CGI.

Popcorn film fans who are into Michael Bay & Fast Furious films may get some enjoyment, but found it pretty pointless remake.

2/5.
Upcoming films want to see;
Top Gun Maverick
MI 7 & 8
The Many Saints of Newark
Ghostbusters : Afterlife

Best films seen recently;
Tenet
Once Upon A Time In Hollywood
In The Heights
A Quiet Place 2

nearly as bad as ghostbusters 2016

effects are good but the dialog and acting makes this for under 12s only :P

I had a good time watching it, but it's not nearly as good as the very first MIB was.

goddamn awful, just watchin it for Tess Thompson.

I appreciate its about Earth but maybe taking it in a different direction off planet would be nice for a change. but no, just a retread.They even eschew the chance to make a jest about Thor when the casting cries out for it.

The MIB movies follow the Star Trek movie rules of "every other one being good, the inbetweens stink"

1 star
fav 5 films of the year - Tenet, Bill n Ted 3, Invisible Man, JoJo Rabbit, ?
