Went to see the first one with low expectations, ended up loving it. Went to see this one with greater expectations, and ended up loving it too!
Is it groundbreaking in terms of sequels? No. Is it an enjoyable movie if you like Sonic/used to play the video game as a kid? For sure. I thought the plot was a bit wonky but they got there in the end, we got a good character growth for Sonic, all in all I'm very glad I gave it a chance.
