If the take-up is poor enough, maybe they will get the message and stick to FREE films?

WHEN YOU'RE STRANGE...

Jim Morrison and the Doors Fans are going to love this film and we are offering seats in the Empire, Leicester Square, usually £14.95 for just £9.95 per person

Narrated by Johnny Depp, award-winning writer-director Tom DiCillo's riveting film uncovers historic, previously unseen footage from the illustrious rock quartet and provides new insight into the revolutionary impact of their music and legacy. The creative chemistry of four brilliant artists - drummer John Densmore, guitarist Robby Krieger, keyboardist Ray Manzarek, and singer Jim Morrison - made The Doors one of America's most iconic and influential rock bands. WHEN YOU'RE STRANGE is the first feature documentary to tell their story. Using no actors and only footage shot between their formation in 1965 and Morrison's death in 1971, it follows the band from the corridors of UCLA's film school, where Manzarek and Morrison met, to the stages of sold-out arenas. Taking its title from the cabaret-tinged Doors hit "People Are Strange," the film chronicles the creation of The Doors' six landmark studio albums in just five years, as well as their electrifying live performances. Rare cinéma vérité footage offers an intimate glimpse into their musical collaboration - and their offstage lives.

We are offering a chance to see: When you are Strange at our favourite big screen in Leicester Square at either performance, for just £9.95:

- 1.00pm & 3.50pm - Sunday July 4th

Seefilmfirst ticket price to be £9.95 - simply download voucher and present at box office to get SFF rate: http://www.seefilmfirst.com/pin/767261

Sorry folks, didn't realise the post on Free Films was about the above not-free tickets! Yes, people should read their tickets properly but I think it's a very worrying development because when you go to SFF to stick the code in it does not tell you it's not free - only when you take a look at the confirmation!

Agree Beate, I had to ask for a post to be removed as I didn't print the ticket straight away and later found that it cost MONEY.

Thats really sneaky not saying that it costs money on the initial page until you book! Is that even legal???

It said it in the initial email though so really they have mentioned it so no need to mention when inputting. It's also written on the ticket what price you p*y. If you put in a law suit against them, they'd probably defend themselves by telling you to read the email properly!

Isn't the weather too nice at the moment to be spending time in the cinema watching old(er) films?
