Sounds wonderful, I'm going to watch Step up with my bottle of water!
I love their mini desserts with a black coffee, I always have that as my treat following my 500 calorie pizza; have you tried the one with nougat and nuts on the top its pure heaven. I'm hungry now and I've only just eaten my jacket potato, cottage cheese and apple. Have a wonderful evening 8-)

It made me laugh you comparing my social life with the celebrities it conjures up a vision of this glamorous woman in a cocktail dress going to the Ivy unlike me who's going out for a 5 mile walk followed by a healthy lunch today in the park with my friend and her labrador! I could get used to this being a lady who lunches (got 3 days leave yippee).
Damn, and I thought I could break you down, Platoon style. Oh well, great walk though, 5 miles - go girl! Oh and I wondered what you were puzzling about over hormones and then I re-read my post, what the blasted hell am on...hormones??!??! I meant testosterones...how the bloody hell did I get those 2 mixed up! Well I know my body compostion is transforming but uh, hopefully not in that way..sheesh!

OK, I'm embarrassed...lap it girls...go on, get it over and done with...can I move on?!? Please? Please? Right, time for the 1 week late progess chart ;) Next weighing/measuring time in 2 weeks.

And the part about my stress levels rising with Diane's outdoor eating is of course a joke. You should all know that. I wont stress over that, its my blood pressure that's friggin rising....Hehe, ok so I care, go on hit me!

All this talk about straying so that I can have a job motivating you (we all have that job here btw!!), was quite funny as hell but it got me thinking about goals and methods of reaching those goals. We all set ourselves goals. We all have our own methods, (Ms Thrifty, you're right, I dont want to know your one or I am sure to get a heart attack!) but we just simply share our knowledge. I am learning from many professional sources and sharing that here. So once we reach our intermediate goals, we set another goal. There is no end to setting goals. Annej, myself, and yeah, Diane may have actually reached their goals. But they're intermediate goals. If we arrive at our ideal weight, what's next? Well if anything, to maintain it of course! Or perhaps you may have a sporting challenge and want to build enduarance and strength. For me, I am now looking ahead to becoming athletic (get to 10% BF...ooh tough one) but immediate goal now is to run a fast time in the half marathon. For Annej, maybe to maintain and then perhaps train for a sporting challenge? Diane, do you actually fit into your favourite dress yet? As that was an original goal?

Ok on with that chart:

Diane, has not just lost a 1lb but an also lost an inch from her hip! Fantastic...let us know if you fit into your fav dress, now? You getting so close to your goal (perhaps even reached it, its time to set another one). Your BF% is actually in the healthy zone, so maybe just keep it there. But yeah, object at me as much you want but I am always going to make sure you are keeping alert with what you eat outside, since that is your lifestyle, and though I know you make a fantastic effort to keep it in control, its still easy to get "carried away"...I know ;) Make the healthy choices from the menus when its not your comfort day.

JMD you sound very determined to keep fit and healthy. Give the gym program another try, as you were thinking of it, the gym instructors (better still make sure they are PT level 3 trained) are supposed to set you appropriate workouts for everyones's different conditions. Holland is the land of cycling, I envy you! I always enjoyed cycling when I go to Holland, safest and most enjoyable place to cycle! Love that your playing the Wii more too! Which games are you finding the most exrecising and fun, I'd like to know! But keep it going, you doing great!

Kkenedy, you've got a great mini story there, as you went on holiday, and had great fun, gaining 4lbs, lol. Its a holiday, thats what they're for, unwind. Hope you had a great one. But your story dont end there, you came back and decided to get back on the health track with a vengeance and so lost 7lbs since!!! Brilliant!

As for me, well I called Kate Winslet and she rejected me, something about clash of personality and accuses me of being delusional and a health freak...I mean I only asked her what her body fat percentage, you know, normal chit chat...gee whats her problem? Anyone got Kiera Knightly number?

But remember everyone, dont try lose too quickly. There are many side effects. There are no winners from here on, for losing the most weight. 1lb-1.5lbs a week is ideal. Any loss of body fat, and you're a winner but if you losing too much, think about the result, loss of muscle, more fatigue, loose skin etc.

Have a great weekend everyone!

Well done everyone and yes I can fit into my dress yippee :D just need somewhere to go in it I feel a night out coming on.
I still want to lose that extra 6lbs you set for me and also reduce my body fat, I know I'm in the healthy zone but if you could see me you would know the body fat issue needs to be worked on so you'll still have to put up with me for some time yet!
I've just got some Sketchers shape ups to wear for work and I must say I'm very aware of my thighs and buttocks so they must be doing something (I work in a clinic wearing a tunic and trousers so don't look ridiculous - well not much) and hopefully reduce my hips.
