Grown Ups

#1 Post by andrews » Mon Aug 23, 2010 12:00 pm

Adam Sandler writes, directs and stars in this comedy centred around the reunion of five former school friends. 30 years after graduating from high school, five former basketball teammates - Lenny (Sandler), Eric (Kevin James), Kurt (Chris Rock), Marcus (David Spade) and Rob (Rob Schneider) - gather for the funeral of their late coach over the Fourth of July holiday weekend at the same lakeside house where they celebrated a championship victory many years before. As the weekend goes on, the friends come to realise that just because they have all grown older doesn't necessarily mean that they have to grow up.

Director: Dennis Dugan
Cast: Adam Sandler, Salma Hayek, Chris Rock
Running time: 102 minutes
UK Release Date: 27th August 2010

I have a feeling there's going to be SFF screenings for this one.

He's never popular with the reviewers, but he's popular with the ticket b*ying audience in the States.

Adam sandler is not very good. He always plays the same roles and I haven't seen a good film he's made. This reminds me of couples resort!

Funny People and Punch-Drunk Love. Everything else he's done has been appalling.
