It's not really my thing, louisen24. I tend to give the genre a wide berth.louisen24 wrote:What does everyone think of this?

I found this little article at the weekend, which may interest you.
Milla Jovovich says audiences will ‘flip out’ when they see her new film, Resident Evil:Afterlife. The Ukranian model and actress reprises her role as superhuman security officer Alice in the fourth instalment of the action-horror movie. ‘I’m blown away by the things that I’ve seen so far that we’ve done – I mean, we’re flipping out doing it, so I would imagine people will flip out seeing it,’ she told Entertainment Tonight. ‘It’s in 3D, which is making this movie just come to life.’

Alice does have a rather cool backwards kick. she didnt seem to do it in the new film's trailer.

fav 5 films of the year - Tenet, Bill n Ted 3, Invisible Man, JoJo Rabbit, ?

PoP was one of the better ones, I think the worse ones are the shoot'em up computer games translated into films.

Re: Resident Evil: Afterlife 3D
How well do people think this film will do at the box office? It's currently beating the number 2 (The American) in the US chart by 10-1.
And has anyone been to see this yet as I won't be able to see it until next week?

Re: Resident Evil: Afterlife 3D
It might have been 10:1 on the first day, but by the close of this weekend it will be more like 5:1. Fans of franchises always flock out to see it on the first day and The American is pretty weak. Still it's a really good opening for the film, maybe it's a sign for Saw 3D, that the 3D effect might pump some more life into the franchise.
What I want to know is if they make another film after the Final Destination 3D, Saw 3D, Resident Evil: Afterlife 3D, what they want to call the next sequel???
