the truth, i hate both ads. one was very sexist, the other thought they were great & funny. it always happy family when they were working on task, and start pointing fingers when they lost!
Ahh... I cringed at that "1950s" TV advert. Gotta love Nick's sarcastic commentary.
They must be the direst ads i've seen coming out of the show 8O The germanator ad was all about Stuart and Chris playing at 'actor' and 'director'. This task is more about the contestents keeping their ego's in check and cause they have such big egos in the first place they always get carried away :p

I didn't watch the show in peace this week so missed a lot of the interactions. I think Chris wears coloured contacts and doesn't he have really red lips :wtf:

valda wrote:yeah the whole ep was a bit meh for me, not funny enough or cringey enough either. I'm quite glad I didn't og on Sunday now. I've still got my production tickets for the 28th, and at least I'll not have to queue
me too. not much comments in here this week, it just proved how boring and predictable this week is. hehehe. when is the final ( is it 12 weeks in total?). really want to go to the final :cross:

we have loda of those infomercial TV screeens around at work. When the Apprentice comes up they put a big red cross over each loser which is pretty funny.

The other thing I notice is that I haven't a clue who any of the boys are, apart from Alex. There's no outstanding guy for me this year
preferred locations Shepherds Bush, Westfield, Notting Hill, Central London, Wimbledon, Islington, Wandsworth thanks

How ridiculously unbalanced were the two teams last night? Apollo had a bunch of losers. Only Chris has any kind of remote shot at the finals out of anyone on that team. Going up against Liz, Stella, Christopher, Jamie and Joanne? Please. Sugar could have mixed the teams up if he wanted, but I think he wanted Apollo to lose to ensure he could offload some of the deadweight… especially since the final call as to winner/loser was down to him.

As for Alex, I don’t get how people find him likable. He strikes me as totally and utterly desperate. I don’t find him funny in the least. Probably because he seems to make jokes, not to make others laugh, but to deflect criticism from his fragile ego. He seemed totally incapable of actually laughing at himself. That reeks of insecurity.
102 Different free films seen in 2010 plus 2 repeat viewings and a few tv show screenings... not too shabby. Thanks to everyone for their contributions here.

Poor Alex - he was never on screen without the by-line "unemployed head of communications" flashing up........and then he'd launch into a speech about how super sucessful he was......... priceless!

Go ahead, make my day - by visiting my blog: http://jacobthehobnob.wordpress.com/

Member number 33 of the "100 free films in 2012" club. I saw 32, which is rather delightful.. I beat Mr. Glass on free films but he narrowly inched me out on total films seen.

Member number 33 of the "100 free films in 2011" club. I saw 20, interestingly enough. My more realistic target was to see more free films than TheyCallMeMrGlass. I lost.

Me either, but I wouldn't want to go to one of his dinner parties.

I thought last night's episode was a bit dull to be honest, and that's the first time I've said that about this series.
I thought both of the advertising campaigns were useless, but I thought the octopus idea was even more useless than the germinator. I can only think that Lord Sugar was desperate to get rid of someone on Alex's team.

I missed a lot of the reasoning because our television reception is pathetic, and whenever a car revs outside our house, the sound disappears!
