I Just got a text from her "The NHS is full of idiots. Feel like in an eposode of House but without the brilliant doctors"

I take that to mean they still haven't decided what is wrong with her.

Me too! Agree with her there. The end is not in sight then (excuse the pun!)

Oh no, sorry to hear about Beate. That's rotten luck. Prettyxcool, could you pass my best wishes for a quick recovery, when you visit her. I'm somehow picturing Beate's reaction to a Hugh Laurie bedside manner...

Grrr got to moan about BT.

I've just got a text from my sister asking if the landline was ok. She's been calling for 3 days and it just rings and rings. I had a fiddle about but couldn't make it work so went onto the BT fault report line. After they tested it, they emailed and said it could be the local exchange and the fault should be repaired by the 30th 8O . So that would mean up to 8 days, and who knows how long there had been a fault?

Luckily I don't use it much, but my sister always calls it, as its cheaper than her mobile
preferred locations Shepherds Bush, Westfield, Notting Hill, Central London, Wimbledon, Islington, Wandsworth thanks

I visited Beate today and arranged to meet her OH so I could take him to the hospital. They still don't know what the problem is and Beate is not in the best of moods. Hope they get some results to the tests by tomorrow and can shed some light on the problem. A possibility is viral conjunctivitis. She is losing patience and very bored.

I gave her best wishes from all of us and told her there were loads of messages on the Diary Room and she was very grateful.

Will await update from Bevvy and prettyxcool who might be seeing her tomorrow before their film.

milkchocmonkey and I went to the freixenet "very impromptu party' tonight to include a masterclass with Brendan Cole. And what fun we had. It was held at Amika, billed as one of London's most glamorous members clubs. On arrival, we had a freixenet cava cocktail, then our group was invited into another room for the masterclass. Along the way we picked up some pink and black feather boas. Brendan was in his element, showing us all the moves, which we had to follow for the salsa, and cha cha and ended up with a scene from Dirty Dancing! Then it was photos and autograph time, with more cava and then canapes to follow.

Brendan is such a nice guy, really friendly and enjoying himself, even posing for the upteenth time for photos and signing autographs. Them we left with a goody bag filled with more freixenet cava, douwe egberts pure gold coffee plus 50p off voucher, choc and fudge bars, licorice, and two friexenet bottle key rings.

A great evening, thanks to superhero. o/
