I know they are predicting bad snow for London today/tomorrow but having to queue to get into Sainsburys today is just stupid. Don't these people know that the shop will still be open tomorrow and that we all have perfectly good legs to walk......

P.S. I must point out that I was there at the same time I go every week and not due to the panic b*ying!

Maybe people are concerned about whether some items will run out, rather than the shops being open or not? During the previous snow my local Sainsbury's was open but had no bread, milk, etc. Annoyingly there was a notice restricting customers to six cartons of milk each - six - I only wanted one! - but there was none left anyway.

People who live in Kent and Essex have rapidly started to leave the office for home, LOL.

Our Christmas party for tomorrow night has just been cancelled because only half of the staff think they will be able to make it!

No mention of re-scheduling from my Director so I guess he will just wait to see how many of us mention it to him!

We had snow here again in Watford, it had been coming down quite hard to about 15 mins so there was a bit of a covering....so what do all the schools do, panic and send all the kids home even earlier than planned....all apart from the school I work at. I finish work at 1pm so thankfully didn't have to leave my kids stranded at their school for too long but what's normally a 10 minute drive took 40 mins because everyone was leaving at the same time and the traffic was bumper to bumper!! So glad its then end of term :D

Sun is out now and the side roads are a bit slippy, some of the hills not too good, but the main roads are fine, what was all the panic!!
Preferred Cinema's now Paignton or Exeter!

Well It did snow for it a bit in south London. I'm just hoping that was it as bitterly cold at the moment.
