So fox have yet to announce anything else about avatar day here in the UK but im assuming its gonna be in all the Imaxs, BFI have left there 6ish slot free

I don't really know if I want to watch 15 minutes of it or whether its almost too much and it'll spoil it? I spose it depends if its clips or straight segments though - does anyone know is it gonna be the same as what he showed at comic con?

anyway its free so me reckons SFF will be issuing the tickets as theres been no news yet or else its gonna be a messy first come first served on the day.

I'd definitely like to check it out on 'Avatar Day'; not sure the film can possibly live up to the hype it's received so far, but here's hoping. Fingers crossed there are tickets as well, doubt it will be that popular just to see 15 minutes, but you never know, it could be chaos

yeah their not very up to date though
i think its just the US screenings that are going to be released at that time
looks like IMAX BFI and Manchester and maybe Birmingham here, screenings 6 and 6.30, its gonna be 16 mins and have stuff that wasn't shown at comic con and an intro by JC

I am not really sure what Avatar is - is it really worth going to see 16 minutes of a film only?

It's probably going to be amazing but I prefer real human actors to CGI stuff anyday, no matter how brilliant. Phunkygal, do you know a SFF insider? :shifty: but if I had to guess I would imagine SFF would be organising it too...
