I'm going to try the sales again tomorrow as need to go to John Lewis. Hopefully it won't be so bad.

After coming back from a relative's house I've had lots of fun reading your inputs on my film choices! Sadly I didn't realise HMV vouchers can't be used online; so orders will have to wait until my friend gets me an amazon voucher, haha :D

So far I have received the Alien Anthology on blu ray, Inception blu ray in a limited edition metal case, Aguirre Wrath of God, and a Film Noir collection boxset. I was also ecstatic to find that a new HMV outlet store had opened in Swindon Outlet Centre so basically went crazy and b*ght Kill Bill Volumes 1 and 2 on Blu Ray, Beverly Hills Cop, Little Caesar, Rain Man, Speed, Cloverfield and Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels on blu ray.

Long enough list for you? :rofl2:

Member number 33 of the "100 free films in 2012" club. I saw 32, which is rather delightful.. I beat Mr. Glass on free films but he narrowly inched me out on total films seen.

Member number 33 of the "100 free films in 2011" club. I saw 20, interestingly enough. My more realistic target was to see more free films than TheyCallMeMrGlass. I lost.

The Killers; Double Indemnity; The Big Steal (colourised version sadly); Crossfire; Out of the Past; The Blue Dahlia; The Glass Key; This Gun For Hire; Murder, My Sweet (or Farewell, My Lovely).

I've only seen Double Indemnity, and I plan on staying in for most days before school starts again, so when you next talk to me I may be in the shadows. :D

Nice to know o/ I've noticed that they're showing The Big Sleep on New Year's Day at BFI Southbank, and barely any tickets have been booked. Maybe I will be going out after all.

Daughter rang to say the toilet floaty thing broke in my house...... water gushing and what should she do to stop it. :tears: So, no sales, only DIY stores looking for bits for a toilet no-one makes any more. No wonder the shop was selling the bathroom stuff cheaply!

Just glad I had turn off valves put in for the different water pipes :wall:

Great films Weirdfilms33, would much prefer to watching them at the moment.

It's official!!!! I am a big fat greedy pig!!!! Dear God!! I have eaten so many canapes, turkey dinners and delectable desserts over the last few days  that I when I go swimming with the whales you won't be able to make out which one's me!!!! In fact, sitting here in this chair I feel like a beached whale!!! I'm serious!! No sha**ing for at least two days...err...ok, at least one!!! (insert spanky smilie here :giggle: ) I won't even mention how much I've had to drink over the past few days (mmmmm hazelnut Baileys yummy). All I can say is, thankfully, I didn't make a complete fool of myself at the office do!!! Wahey!! And the best bit? I didn't have to do any xmas cooking at all this year!!

Belated Merry Christmas to all my FMUK friends and God bless us, everyone!! x
