Re: Weight Watchers
I wear dresses at times but sexy is not really the word that comes to mind, it may look like there is more than me in it but the extra bumps I'm afraid belong to me
I've taken on board what you've said Ms Thrifty re experimenting calories don't count, I like that one.

Dresses are simply neither warm nor practical enough - and then you have to worry about tights and footwear, too. Give me trousers and boots for warmth and comfort, not to mention speed of movement. They hide my bruises, too - I am always bashing myself on something, somewhere!

Re: Weight Watchers
Heres a question to people, not on my behalf bt for my mom, how would you get your motivation back up?
She was doing grand at the begining of the year, going swimming every morning, being healthy, then somewhere along the line everything just kinda collapsed and im worried
she said to me earlier "we can have a chinese tonight! i havent had one in ages!" yet we all went to buffet island on friday....(and yes she has just finished her order, due to arrive at half 7, and leaving me with a pathetic tin of soup for the night :/) and this is a continuous thing now, before i came back from uni, monday was the chippy, tuesday-carvery, wednesday- chinese thursday- freezer pizza friday- cheesy bread :/
and shes started an ever growing obsession with carling, verging on 36 cans a week now, i am slightly worried :/
both me and my nan have tried to get her back on track but nothing seems to work, she just insists that were nagging, but if cheryl(our WW leader) tells her the same thing then she takes it as advice
any suggestions? :S

I wish I knew the answer for that. This is my biggest fall in losing weight - motivation.rawr_xoxo wrote:Heres a question to people, not on my behalf bt for my mom, how would you get your motivation back up?

Re: Weight Watchers
I loveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee dresses they are the best Ms_T!!!!! I love dancing in dresses more! It just doesn't look as good with jeans on, and certainly not with trousers or boots on! That is for hiking!Ms Thrifty wrote:Dresses are simply neither warm nor practical enough - and then you have to worry about tights and footwear, too. I didn't b*y any dresses this year.

Re: Weight Watchers
how is your Mum in herself? does she seem happy or sort of down? Not that its any of my busineness but that amount of Alcohol puts heaps of weight on and its also probably above the recommended limit. It does seem to sound like sometings worrying her and eating and drinking is her way of coping with it. Where's MrG? He's the motivatorrawr_xoxo wrote:Heres a question to people, not on my behalf bt for my mom, how would you get your motivation back up?
