I'm impressed Valda what a brilliant start, I've just got myself a weightwatchers meal for dinner which doesn't look too tempting but I always kick start my healthy eating with these meals for the first week. I did find the Ferrero Rocher at work which I reluctantly shared but they are history now.

I've weighed myself so its time to shame myself I weigh 10st10lbs (68.5KG) so still have the 7lbs to lose along with 3lbs from socialising over Christmas so I've still kept 10lbs off if I'm trying to be positve.

That's not much weight at all! I'm 12 stone, the most I've ever been I'm ashamed to say. I'm also 41% body fat, how can that be? I don't look big but I've got massive legs and bit tummy.

I'm trying the Diet Chef thing for a few weeks to get me going. The food is not too bad, then main thing is portion size. If you look at www.lookwhatwefound.co.uk they are the ones who actually make the food and it can be got at Waitrose etc if you want to try. I've got loads at work cos I b*y it off ebay at a hugely reduced price hehe

I will start my diet in 2 weeks or so. At 8.5 months pregnant I am eating anything and everything I come across and still feel hungry constantly!

But look on the positive side...in a few weeks I will have the biggest weight loss of my life within hours!

Hi guys

Hope you all had a lovely Christmas and New Year are well and happy.

I'd like to join you all again..I'm trying to not feel like i have my tail between my legs :tears: but it does feel a bit like that.

I have gained most of what i lost and in need of a confidence boost to kick me into 2011

One positive (struggling to find them :p ) is that a friend brought me some leg weights..which i plan to wear around the house. I have also dusted of the gym kit and plan to return when the children go back to school on Wednesday...ha ha that's two positives, i'm on a role o/

Lots of love to you all

now that is a good idea. I've got some around the house somewhere. MInd you I tend to sit here and not move unless I need the toilet or go to bed  I've been dreadful with the gym, I used to do my combat class 3 or 4 times a week, then films, injurys and general can't be bothered took control so, I've not been for about 2 months but do intend to get back into it, as long as there's no film on that night :P

Way to go girls! Liking the positive action plans! Great start Valda! I've logged your walking activity ;) Another one tomorrow for Untangled? I am seeing it too this morning (gotta leave in 15mins!) at Shepherds Bush which is 7.7 miles away from my home (thats 12.2 km) so after the movie I am going to run back all the way home as part of my training :) which should take me about 1hour and 15 minutes or so. Not much difference in time if I took public transport in fact due to the multiple changes I have to make and no tube station where I live! So all of you seeing Tangled (or Next 3 Days) tomorrow, walk as much of the way either to or from the film. Let me know how you did ;)

So Valda, you set a great example for others to follow including me, and you show it takes nothing out of your spare time to getting exercise and getting fit ;)

Rainylb, dont worry about your kipling cakes, hope you enjoyed them! So consider it your New year treat, have your next moderate treat next week and focus on making healthy eating choices before then. Only treat yourself to something naughty once a weeks. You've made a big step by setting yourself a target, your spa holiday, write that target down on post it notes and put it on your fridge, in your handbag, and recite it to yourself 4 times a day. It sounds excessive I know, but guess what, it bloody works, its powerful :)

Diane, you're already a proven trooper so you will lose that 8lb soon, and that 3lbs over Christmas is very little damage :)

Rawr_oxo, I really want to hear more about the Kinect personal training. Please post more about it as you use it and how effective is it :) Good stuff.

Dont forget all the basics I've mentioned in the past, I wont repeat them now as I gotta go but I will summarise. If you want to lose body fat, its a simple equation. Eat a little less calories (Not too drastic a reduction) each week, excercise more, eat better quality calories and NEVER NEVER STARVE. All of you weigh yourselves now and record it, if you like to participate in the Progress Chart that I will be doing this this week, then give me your stats (you weight is optional if you dont want to disclose that, you can just give your target, see the old progress chart I posted a couple days ago for example). I can work out a healthy target rate for you

Better shoot off now, gotta catch 3 trains going there!

Do you have a VR headset? If so, maybe we can play a physical sports game or even be sports/fitness partners, hit me up if you keen.

I'll have to look into that but I doubt if I'll be eligible.

Anyway after the film today I walked back to Tesco, went round twice, once putting stuff in the trolley and then again taking all the rubbish out! So I only b*ght fruit and veg. forgot the milk though, rats!
