Awesome! Great trainer too using the personal touch to call up his students to attend, quite a motivator you got there, he's already inspiring me indirectly.

Rawr_oxo....9 APPPLES ?!?!? Thats about 480 calories. Moderation girl, everything in moderation. The only thing that word doesnt apply is vegetables! Mixing your veg and fruits is also a must too, to ensure you have your full essential vitamins and minerals. And dont forget fruits contain lots of sugar.

Everyone, use this databases to check how much calories each food item contain as a guidance. The first is UK specific but not such a large database, the second one is a huge database but American but of course mostly still apllicable even though it list American only brands. But anyway, anything you shop that is in a can/box/wrapper will almost always have Nutrition breakdown.

There is a comprehensive calorie/nutrition database which includes every UK supermaket product but they charge a fee, I have no idea how much but they give a 24 hour trial, and there is also a database book updated every year that could be handy to have in the kitchen which costs £9. I think it sounds worth it, though I never b*ght it as the free links I just given were enough for me.

hard class tonight, all the mirrors were steamed up! There was a new guy next to me, a big guy all red and sweating, so I was encouraging him and he did the whole class. The hardest thing is the routines, its all nonsense until you've done 3 or 4, then usually it snaps into place. Luckily for me as it is a new routine, most everyone was in the same boat.

New guy said he's coming back so hopefully he will, as its a great form of exercise

By the way, everyone, 5-a-day actually includes vegetables. So if your dinner includes carrots, broccoli and tomatos, lunch lettuce, pepper, sweetcorn, peas, you've already had more than your 5 a day. 5 a day is your absolute minimum, you should be having more than that. stick to just 1 or 2 fruits a day, and make sure you have more vegetables at least during your fat loss phase.

To be honest, when people say they have tried everything and cant lose weight, my own experience can vouch for that we always overlooked the amount of fruits and fruit juice we consume and dont ever count that into our calorie intake but that is actually the biggest hidden obstacle. I made that mistake too before I learnt that right balance of Fat, Carbs, and protein. So easy on those fruit juice and fruits!

At least 1 rest is a must for your whole body to recover. Its during this recovery period your muscles repair itself and reinforces a strong bind to more than cope with the stresses that was applied. If you keep exercising continuously, you dont give your body any time to recover, and can lead to over exhaustion and injuries. So that's great you have a rest day tomorrow. Exhausting yourself is good but over exhaustion is BAD. So well done you got it just right, though doing a pump session followed by a combat session on the same day sounds a little excessive?? Love your enthusiasm though but make sure you listen to your body. I exercise (eithe gym/run/sport) 5-6 days a week but I always make sure I have at least 1 or 2 days complete rest.

How is every else doing? Feeling your adrenaline pumping up with Valda's and Rawr_oxo progress? Well I do ;)
