They didn't even give out that many free tickets for A Flea in her Ear at the Old Vic.
Tickets go on sale end of this month for Richard III with Kevin Spacey and directed by new James Bond director Sam Mendes. I don't suppose there will be many free tickets for that one too.

I think people probably go more because of Sam Mendes than Kevin Spacey...maybe?

Re: Free Theatre/Concert Tickets Discussion Thread
Hi there, do you know where about are the free tickets for and how are they issued? Is it a specific sector (stalls vs. up in the air vs. standing) and issued on first come first serve first serve or already preallocated?
I've got seats for tonight's "A flea in her ear" and even if I don't want to sound fussy (I realise tickets are still free) I'd like to know where I'm more likely to end up tonight.
Cheers,
Michele

Re: Free Theatre/Concert Tickets Discussion Thread
They could be anywhere as they are seats that have not been sold, and to create a good audience atmosphere for those that have pa*d, they try to fill up the seats around them. I have had seats in the Stalls, in Circle, Upper Circle and they all have been very good seats.

Re: Free Theatre/Concert Tickets Discussion Thread
You can always ask them whether they have tickets for a specific area left, if for example you want to sit in Circle. It is worth a try.
