Re: Holiday Thread
It sounds about right to me if they are 4 star hotels. Especially as Venice is not a cheap pleace to visit.a_person wrote:Is £550 per person too much to spend for a one week trip to Italy flying out 27th May - 3rd June (3 nights Rome, 3 nights Venice) in two 4* hotels?
My friend seems to think it's too much for a European trip and if I spend that much I should spend it somewhere further out but I'm wondering whether she's just underestimating.

Re: Holiday Thread
Is anyone else doing the 'book 3 days off and get 11 days holiday' thing in April?
(April 22 - May 2)
I was wondering if anyone was doing anything exciting in that time off? I was hoping to go somewhere hot (or at least warmer than here), but I don't know whether waiting for a lastminute offer is going to work.
Interested to hear what plans are being made....

Re: Holiday Thread
Well I would have I was allowed to but my Office Manager got there first, AND she broke the rules by booking the holiday first THEN putting the application in! I am so annoyed.
I have however 15 - 25 April off and hope to be out of London at the Royal Wedding weekend as it looks like chaos.

But if you never go you should have saved enough money to blow it on a real treat for yourself!
