Sylvester Stallone has admitted he is hard at work on a sequel to 'The Expendables'. 8O

The macho flick was a box office smash last summer, boasting a who's who of action stars - including Stallone, Jason Statham, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren and Mickey Rourke. Bruce Willis and Arnold Schwarzenegger also cameo in the film.

The film focused on Stallone's rag tag group of mercenaries.

Stallone, who also wrote and directed the movie, said, "We're at work on it.

"Because you have about five different scenarios, and you try to figure out which one will work the best: what area, the kind of stunts, and most important, what is the heart of the film?

"What is the reason for the mission instead of just guys running around? Some purpose, that's the hard part."

So which action stars will be used in the sequel. It's already been rumoured that Jean-Claude Van Damme is being lined up for the sequel - as is Steven Seagal. Incidentally, both were asked to star in the original, but turned down the chance.

Up next for Stallone? He will lend his vocal talents to animated movie 'Zookeeper'.

British actor, Henry Cavill best known as Charles Bradon in the Tudors has been cast as

SUPERMAN !!! I wonder if he will keep the British accent, or just Americanise him? More likely the latter. Just a reminder, the new Superman film is another reboot directed by Zack Snyder

Member number 33 of the "100 free films in 2012" club. I saw 32, which is rather delightful.. I beat Mr. Glass on free films but he narrowly inched me out on total films seen.

Member number 33 of the "100 free films in 2011" club. I saw 20, interestingly enough. My more realistic target was to see more free films than TheyCallMeMrGlass. I lost.
