Why is it that air cons always conk out when it is really hot? The chillers promptly tripped out today so we sat in a sweltering office fanning ourselves, the blokes were allowed to take their ties off but no offers of free icecream came forward!

Had a lovely day at the beach today as we went to Knoll Beach at Studland Bay. To finish of the day we went into Swanage for good old fashioned fish and chips, yummy. The weather was brill, the scenery was wonderful and everyone was friendly. England at its best!

Sussex is great - some really lovely places to visit. Let me know what sort of things you like to do if you want some info. For a great night out head for the Tarana Indian Restaurant at Turners Hill. You will need to book but the food is great. If you go on a Wednesday evening they have Bollywood dancers and a Handi menu!

Thanks for the link you sent me! I have lots of info already, just need to print it all off and finalise my itinerary (I am so German). I am not that much into Indian food though! I can't believe I am going to watch a free preview in Chichester, LOL!

Btw, we had our second stiflingly hot day in the office as the chillers had to be totally turned off as they were overheating. Just great. Who needs the Caribbean if you can have it at work!
