Despite missing the first 5 minutes, andrews liked it:
It was quirky, gentle, and amusing in places. Just right for a Sunday morning! I enjoyed it. 7/10 from me.

Just got back from seeing this at the Shaftsebury Avenue Odeon (why do they call it Covent Garden?) (thank you to Phunkygal and Beate for sorting me out with tickets). The cinema was packed out.
I liked this from the moment of the opening titles, which were cute and fun. The narration was quirky and the zipping around with dates kept me alert.
I thought the lead actor was quite cute, but not devilishly dishy, so it made the story more realistic. I didn't think there was much characterisation of Summer, as we didn't really know what she was thinking or what was going on with her. I found it refreshing that it wasn't predictable and a cutesy rom-com, and although it wasn't the traditional happy ending, I still found a positivity from it. I'd been looking forward to this one for a while, and it was a great film for a Sunday morning. I emerged into the sunshine feeling great.
I'll be recommending it to people as a good change from the usual sloppy romantic comedies. The girl on one side of me certainly found some bits so funny that she couldn't control her snorting laughter! Wonder if that was anyone from here?
I'll give it 8/10.

I really enjoyed this film! I thought it was very well shot and both actors were excellent and well cast. I enjoyed the story line, found it much funnier then I expected and I thought the ending was good. Will definately be recommending it to my friends. I too thought the dancing scence was fantastic. Overall give it an 8/10 as well and thanks again to cheekyweelassie for hooking me up :D

I enjoyed this film. what I thought was just going to be just your typical Rom-Com, which I believe there to be a little too many in recent months, just goes to show there’s plenty of life left in the genre yet. The films strength came with the film not being afraid of experimenting and drawing from lots of different genres anything from the Musical to Art house cinema, as well as elements of pop culture , I.e. Han solo and The graduate which I though worked really well. The films fresh approach was complemented by the acting of the both likeable Joseph Gordon- Levitt and Zooey Deschanel who keep impressing me film by film,,,(with the expection of Yes man ..sorry to anyone who like that film). On top of that, a great soundtrack which was also spot on.

On the whole I would recommend the film. 7/10

Saw this today at Odeon Derby – enjoyed it and found it very funny in parts. Was slightly disappointed that it wasn’t the typical boy meets girl, boy and girl break up only to end up back with each other at the end of the film.
