I just came across this deal for the Royal Court. I can't post it on the free theatre codes thread as it costs £3 but it seems like a bargain as it includes a drink from the bar! (pity I won't be around that day :tears: ) There are top price (£28) tickets available for £3 at the moment.

Go to the theatre for only £3
For the chance to see ‘Wastwater’ at the Royal Court Theatre for only £3 on April 20th, go to http://www.royalcourttheatre.com/skyartsand enter the promo code SkyArts. This great deal also includes a drink voucher to use in the Royal Court bar, but hurry - there are only 300 tickets available at this special price and seats are offered on a first come first served basis so to grab the best seats in the house you need to be quick!

Attended another great concert tonight with soprano Elizabeth Llewellyn at St John's Smith Square, a venue I've never before seen so a nice treat.

Then returned home to see Bevvy's excellent deal at The Royal Court so many thanks all round.

Very glad to get tickets for more Mahler at Royal Festival Hall last night. We heard The Philharmonia play Mahler's Symphony no 6 and this was also conducted by Lorin Maazel and we were very surprised free tickets were offered, as we figured tickets would be sold out with such a great conductor. Our seats were a bit too close but that's me being picky and I was grateful for any seat that I didn't have to p*y for! The Concert Master (first violinist) was delayed on the Jubilee Line fiasco and arrived after the first movement, so everyone else moved up, chairs were rearranged and the concert began. We felt very lucky to to have heard Mahler's 1st and 6th in the last week.

Tonight we took advantage of Bevvy's £3 deal at The Royal Court for the play Wastwater. For £3 I got a stalls seat as well as a voucher for a glass of wine or beer which meant that I was in profit at the end of the night. It was an odd play that was done in three scenes. I liked the first one with a foster mother (Linda Bassett) saying goodbye to a foster son who was off abroad. I thought the other two were weak and not very interesting but I was very glad to visit The Royal Court again -- don't think I've been there for about 15 years. And I found a £5 note in the road when getting on the bus near Green Park!

Good to see prettyxcool and her OH.

OH and myself took advantage of that fantastic £3 offer for Wastwater and saw it last night. Have to say I was more keen on the free drink than what actually happened on stage. I thought the sets were fantastic but generally the acting was weak and the storyline not very involving. My wife thought the best acting was done by the little girl in the third scene and I would agree! It was quite dull at certain moments and I could hear others sighing in frustration around me, I thought overall the writing was poor and didn't really care about any of the characters. The free drinks were a nice touch and it is a nice theatre but that's about it really.

I guess not many people are interested in the new theatre/concert code from SFF this weekend at the Indigo2, but I am getting "code invalid" again like what happened with Insidious before, so it's probably a VIP code issue.
Anyway I have some tickets if anyone is looking for any

I only get "code invalid" for Friday, not for Saturday and Sunday. Whatever that means. :star:
