I didn't read the comics, only watched the cartoons when I was younger. I always thought Tin-tin was meant to be about 17-19 years old, not a fully grown adult but not a child - old enough to fall into the things he gets involved in off his own back. Is he older in the comics? I just assumed he was an older teenager.

Wiki has his birthdate as 1929, not sure if that helps.

Wasn't a fan of tin tin back in the days found the character dull and boring, but I love Spielberg films and I'm hoping that tin tin has have an extreme character makeover!!!!
