I too saw this tonight in the amazing Grosvener cinema in Glasgow. As cheeksdevil says it is a real surprise. Virtually invisible from the street and is up a lane that seems like something out of a theme park - lots of quirky restaurants and pubs. Great fun.

I have to agree with the film being more of a supernatural thriller rather than a horror. No gore. No unnecessary jumps or jumps over something that wasn't real or relevant - such as a bird flying out of trees etc - a common cinematic trick. Another washed-out pale, almost sepia picture - greens very blue and little red - which I found pretty annying tbh, but which is a cinematic technique that the director explained to us was to reflect the post-war mood and general sense of grief and loss following wartime losses. Good story, well acted. A definite must see - even for non-horror fans.

how was the q&a, did they open it up to the floor coz we got the impression the lady holding the mike wasn't going to let go lol we would have liked to stay longer but travel arrangements just wouldn't allow for it unfortunately.

I think they had 4 questions from the audience, might have been three lol. Yes the lady holding the mic was very luvvy dahling to the director who seemed like a reasonably nice chap. You didn't miss that much :) I love the grosvener seen many a film in the big comfy seats.
