Re: Happy Feet Two
Saw it this morning, waaaaaay too early for me, and came out a little underwhelmed/still tired, but after thought I think it was an alright little film. Definitely aided by Brad Pitt and Matt Damon's Bill and Will Krill, their existential journey of forced natural selection was far more entertaining than the rest of the film, had less low-brow humour that felt inappropriate, more fun 3D, plus Brad Pitt sings a little Dragonstea Din Tei, and thus wins the movie.
Rushed to the pre-premiere party after to interview a few of the stars, Elijah Wood and Robin Williams couldn't have been more awesome and wiling to talk about their smaller works. I geeked out.

Re: Happy Feet Two
Robin Williams? The Mrs Doubtfire Robin Williams was in town? Wow. I did read your tweets, all 573 of them, but I must have missed that snippet. Or maybe I misread for Robbie Williams, LOL.

Re: Happy Feet Two
Maybe so, it was Mrs. Doubtfire's own Robin Williams, I invoked World's Greatest Dad around him, his face lit up, I think he likes that film.

Re: Happy Feet Two
I probably shouldn't admit this in public, but I really enjoyed it!
I'm a sucker for kids movies anyway (I am in fact a little kid inside and totally got my photo taken in front of the green screen so they could insert me into a pic with the penguins).
The storyline overal is a bit meh but the little penguin central to this movie, Erik, is so cute and fluffy and I seriously had to restrain myself from going "awwwww" out loud every time he came on screen.
Though Brad Pitt and Matt Damon as krill buddies Will and Bill stole the show without a doubt. They threw a gazillion puns at the audience (often substituting words for krill/bill/will/any variation that rhymes on that) and though it could've been over the top it stayed entertaining until the end.
The big finale was awfully predictable and cheesy but also good fun.
I was also in awe of the animation and 3D, in particular on the krill. Wow.
8.5/10
There was a little Looney Tunes short before the movie which was really good 3D (stuff actually, almost, came out of the screen). But the fact that the characters were computer animated and not handdrawn ruined it a bit for me.

Wow the green screen sounds cool
I had a similar thing at a LOTR convention years ago, and I got to be a tiny hobbit
