Exactly and more often than not when you are a competition winner you get stuck in the 1st row at a giant sceening room or even in a separate cinema to the "actual" premiere.

because filmcat said in the beginning she/he saw people queuing already at Empire and they probably wouldn't have left their spot to get a Metro.

Re: Snow White and The Huntsman
For me it's not about the "premiere experience". I make an effort to enter comps for movies that don't have free screenings or for which the premiere is before the free screening. That way I don't have to use a voucher to see the film (or p*ysuperhero wrote:Exactly and more often than not when you are a competition winner you get stuck in the 1st row at a giant sceening room or even in a separate cinema to the "actual" premiere.

I've also never experienced getting shitty front row seats myself *knocks on wood* and the free drink/snack + often the introduction to the film by the cast are nice bonuses
One might run off to grab a handful of Metros?superhero wrote:because filmcat said in the beginning she/he saw people queuing already at Empire and they probably wouldn't have left their spot to get a Metro.

Re: Snow White and The Huntsman
They had started gathering at Leicester Square when I left Top Cat, down by the Ticket Booth area of the Square.
I think its going to be a really pretty premiere, I saw green grass carpet waiting to be laid down also loads of ferns. The premiere for STardust was fantastic, like a fairly woodland, with trees and sparkly lights

Oh nice! It's a shame that by the time I get off work it's so late already that it'll be crowded with people so I wouldn't be able to see what it looks like.valda wrote:They had started gathering at Leicester Square when I left Top Cat, down by the Ticket Booth area of the Square.

Re: Snow White and The Huntsman
Well if they are showing at both Empire and Odeon Leicester Sq, I am pretty sure those 100 Metro tickets will be at Empire. There's only about 15 people queueing at the moment and they have a security.
The people who do queue up or enter obviously are going to say it's worth it.
I think there's a good chance if you turn up at 10:00 today at Haymarket you will get tickets. Hope this helps some fmukers.
