Sub Woody Allenesque total claptrap.
The Gate was a good temperature, nice and dark, with an usher bring late comers in with a torch held downwards so not to distract. This was most amusing when a late comer was guided to the right, whilst some one already there on the left was waving frantically
The volume was so loud, not sure if it was in the mix like that or just at certain cinemas. All the shouting and dreadful music was keeping me awake. A few funny lines and a hell of a lot of inconsistancies and plot holes and stuff that just didn't make sense 6/10
preferred locations Shepherds Bush, Westfield, Notting Hill, Central London, Wimbledon, Islington, Wandsworth thanks

Reviews were favourable so was looking forward to this.
Yet another overly self-indulgent angsty American film, so pretty disappointed.
The casting was all good and they all played their parts well, I just didn't care about any of them and was rather annoyed at them for wasting my Sunday morning, to be honest.
Are there any decent comedies out at the minute - I need cheered up!!

Everybody hated it, so it sounds about right that I liked it!
I have to say I have a soft spot for things of life and fu*ked up relationships, so it was right up my street!
Loved everything about it, from the cast, to the script, the clever direction and the gorgeous outdoor shots.
8.5/10

I liked it too, Celini. I think because this sort of scenario could happen in real life. I really liked the bedroom scene when they were drunk ... again, very real to life!!!

I have to say I quite liked this too, considering it was all done on a very low budget and with partly improvised dialogue. Not bad at all. Plenty of laughs and didn't mind the gentle acoustic score. Rosemarie DeWitt was good but I particularly enjoyed Mark Duplass and Emily Blunt, both were excellent. And I love how it ended. 8/10

I didn't love this and nor did I hate it. I thought it was OK. The script was well written and the acting was good. It was a slow burner but I thought the characters interacted well together. It just didn't excite me. And it felt really long despite being only 90 minutes. 6/10.

I loved the 'frustrating' end!! But in a way, I would of liked to see a little scene at the end of the credits, showing us what the result was - just to make the people who don't wait until the very end wish they had stayed!! (although the people who jumped up and left as soon as it ended were probably the ones who didn't like the film anyway and couldn't wait to get out!!)

I saw this as Clapham Picturehouse. I rather liked it with all the natural / improvised acting. Refreshing for a sunny Sunday morning.

So, how's that 10 minute montage at the end going over with audiences?

That's just about how I felt too SB! It did nothing for me and every second word was the F word which in my view was not necessary.
Senery was good. I like an ending that is tied up not left you hanging although I couldn't really care about any of the characters in this. My friend enjoyed it but I didn't so 4/10 from me.
