Great film with lots of laughs & a lot better than we were expecting.
As mentioned above the 2 leads characters were excellent,as were the supporting cast.

Just watched this at packed Cheshire Oaks.
Great film with lots of laughs & a lot better than we were expecting.

This was awful, nothing about this film (except the hotel scene which raised a slight smile) was funny. The acting was good though, so on that basis 2/10

Thanks too Beate for the tickets. I went with My Daughter and We thought it was funny. We kept laughing. Its lifted My spirits after a bad few days. Just what I needed . We would both recommend the film . We managed too wade and laugh at the Bieber fans . Unfortunately My Daughter use too be one but now She cant stand Justin Bieber anyone .

This film was a bit of a strange mixture of comedy and extreme violence.
The comedy was patchy with some good ideas not executed very slickly but also some laugh out loud moments.
Melissa McCarthy was brilliant, did she really [spoiler]do the splits?[/spoiler]

Hilarious! I didn't think I'd like it at first because it seemed very silly.. but I was hooked from the beginning. Sooo funny.
Melissa McCarthy made the film for me.. Loved that the film had a semi-serious message at the end.
Surprised at the turnout. Would have expected a full house, but the entire front section of the cinema was empty. I guess it is Champions league tonight and all that...

Gosh, I'm surprised by all the positive feedback! I'm with jcolombi on this one, Melissa McCarthy gave it her all, but the script was weak.

Mixed reviews but so far more good than bad. I wish I hadn't had to choose between this and Robot And Frank, as I'd have liked to see both, but as this doesn't open until 22 March, maybe some further previews will be announced?

I am quite surprised as well, as I actually walked out! I can't remember ever doing this, but this pushed me over the edge. I don't like seeing the trailers b4hand but for a while now I would be too afraid

Robot and Frank is a good film that doesn't have to try hard to be enjoyable. With Identity Thief, the humour is anything but subtle, it's a case of do whatever you can in the hope of getting a laugh. Melissa McCarthy is a fairly game actress (Bridesmaids) but the plot is pretty weak.
