I went to the Enders game panel last night.
It was lovely seeing the stars of the film ,
Ben Kingsley was loving the whole thing. But I got the feeling Harrison ford really didn't want to be there at all.

Such a shame they didn't show more of the film or even it all after
But thanks for posting the info guys

I brought a friend of mine who was a huge Harrison ford fan and he loved it.

Actually looking forward to the film

I was also there :D Considering how huge the queue was outside (stretching round the block and more) I was very relieved to actually get in and I feel pretty lucky to have managed to find a spare seat a few rows from the front too!

Have to agree that I too thought Harrison Ford seemed a bit subdued although I think they all had quite a hectic day beforehand with other engagements so maybe that's why. It was interesting to hear what the panel had to say and just to be in the same room as movie legends Harrison Ford and Sir Ben Kingsley was pretty special.

It was a shame that there wasn't more of the film shown, but perhaps it's for the best to avoid any spoilers (I've not read the book so I know little of the story).

I was there too with the lovely mandmc10, and the queue was huge, but was not worried about getting in as Odeon Leicester Square is huge. There were loads of empty seats left too (great for grabbing the popchips and water on the way out!) mostly at the back, surprise, surprise, as everyone wanted to sit at the front near to the stars, although the first five centre rows were all reserved presumably for comp winners who came in at the very last minute after SFF tickets holders, who scrambled for the last remaining front seats on the sides. mandmc10 and I managed to grabbed two left, as we were well back in the long queue.

It was lovely to see the stars and Harrison always have that one intense look/expression. We had three little clips before the stars came out. So it was all short and sweet. For once we were told to keep our phones/cameras out and tweet and facebook to our hearts content, as long as we do not use flash!

no IMAX release locally. This doesn't bode well. Harry doesn't look impressed on the film poster either.

Saw it tonight at Stratford East Picturehouse. I cannot believe the amount of talking during this film.

The film was quite good. The CGI looked great and the story was good. I preferred this film to The Hunger Games. The ending was a little predictable.

Harrison Ford was good at playing an irritable old man. I have not read the book so I cannot compare the film to the book but there really seems a real glut of teen novels going straight to film.

Definitely worth a watch 7/10

Harry Potter........IN SPAAAAAAAAACE!

Ender is just a foetus.
Other than that I really enjoyed this. Totally stunning visuals only to be surpassed I'm sure by Gravity when I catch it.
I'm presuming (and have yet to read above this) that this is a series of novels? And so can perhaps expect some sequels? Hope so.
Harry Ford makes a good senior officer, not quite sure about Ben Kingsley's silly NZ accent, nor his facial scribbles.

There are sequels, parallels, and prequels. There are a lot of stories in this series but the parallels are more likely to be made. Ender himself goes off on a voyage of exploration, but the other kids get involved in wars back on Earth in the parallel stories centered on Bean. They're called the Shadow series.
