a little raw for a woody allen movie, with few memorable scenes.

Firths character is eminently dislikeable, let alone that someone as hot (and ahem as young, Woody) as Emms would fall for him. Hes a long way past his Darcy days, I'm afraid, but his character in the movie does him no favours. Granted Allens characters tend to have these 2 sides to them, but he constantly not nice.
fav 5 films of the year - Tenet, Bill n Ted 3, Invisible Man, JoJo Rabbit, ?

The scenery was the best part of the film for me. Maybe the costumes worn by the female actors too, oh to be a sìze 8 again. Found the film slow. Not a fan of Woody films but you got to try incase it turns out to be a good one imo. Poor Colin Firth wheeled out for another D'Arcy role.

Thought that this was quite fluffy & lightweight but in a good way, it had decent performances from it's cast and although the story was quite predictable it was also enjoyably satisfying.

It wasn't nearly as special as 'Midnight In Paris' but maybe on par with 'Blue Jasmine' so overall it did enough to get a 7/10 from me...
