I certainly didn't notice any goodie bags in the Glasgow Fort yesterday . . . though we were a little delayed leaving as I'd lost the nose pad from my glasses which deb1's wee nephew found! o/

I loved it. Weird and wonderful. Goodie bag at Crawley, which was good, but they forgot to switch the 3D at first. Very well behaved children!

I saw it today in Wandsworth. Cinema was 80% full. We really enjoyed it-children an adults. They were also giving us goody bags at the end which had stickers and other little goodies in it! I would recommend!

Wasn't expecting much of this but quite enjoyed it.

It help that just about all my favourite Mexicans were involved with this (Guillermo del Toro, Cheech Marin and Danny Trejo)

Also thought Ron Perlman was pefect as Xibalba.

Any film that does a mariachi version of Radiohead deserves points just for being different!

6/10 but I woukd say higher if you're a child. ☺

Holloway was about 80% full. I didn't see anyone getting goodie bags.

I quite enjoyed the film, in particular the quirky look of the characters, how colourful the film was, and the messages of the film. 8/10

In my country, people go to the cemetery, decorate the graves of their dead relatives with flowers and pray for them on All Saints' Day (1 November). I would have enjoyed it more as a kid if it had been more similar to Day of the Day.

Nothing special here and I felt it was copying ideas from other animated films. A lot of the jokes seemed aimed at adults and a film about death and resurrection is a bizarre story for a children’s film. 6/10.

Very well animated and visually engaging but pointless 3D. Not sure it's as suitable for all ages as the U cert would suggest, perhaps it's a cultural thing as we don't observe Day of the Dead and as such feel uncomfortable dealing with such sensitive issues with our children so early on? My son enjoyed it despite a couple of jumpy bits! goodie bags at the end too which was a nice touch. for me the best bits were the smart covers of Mumford & Sons and Radiohead!

Saw this earlier today & really enjoyed it, thought it had a great story & characters and visually it was really rather special indeed.

It's definitely one of the best animated movies that I've seen this year so overall it gets an 8/10 from me...

Great animation and one of the few films recently that's worth seeing in 3D.

Here's my thoughts : www.cinemabang.com

the movie begins as a kinda Peabody n Sherman but springs to life in the 2nd half. deserves an IMAX for its wonderful vision of the otherworld, Del Toro excels at such.

apart from me, an empty screen on 3rd November!! Why?? People have no culture... or was it because it dealt with foreign people, a bridge too far for a dumb kid to fathom.
fav 5 films of the year - Tenet, Bill n Ted 3, Invisible Man, JoJo Rabbit, ?
