I finally saw this today (Seniors at Vue in Wood Green for odd amount of £3.29 per ticket). I thought it was terrific. Excellent performances from Alex Jennings and Maggie Smith. Amazing that Alan Bennett put up with Miss Shepherd in his drive for 15 years. The man must be a saint.

I saw this a week ago at the Rio Cinema in Dalston for seniors (over 50) for £2 which also included a cup of tea and a biscuit. It is a brilliant film and Maggie Smith was excellent in it. I could not stop laughing at some of her antics. £2 was a real bargain as well!
