That is a result for the free meal at Bar 38 Beate! Are you a regular there or were you just lucky? Rare to get a free meal like that unless they know you're good for repeat custom.
Also are you a member of the local Idea Store (basically the new libraries)? There is one in Canary Wharf (near Jamies) - free internet access

Wow Beate that was lucky! I thought we did well cos we went back to Islington and ate at Wenlock & Essex where they are doing 50% off food for the first month.
Anyway, onto the film: the four of us really liked it. Was told they'd like to see it again!!!
Yeah it was predictable, but it was fun from start to finish. Really cute. OH, who normally can't be bothered to come to showings, wanted to come to this one, as he likes big soppy dogs, so he wasn't disappointed.
Where were the other regulars though? And I was disappointed not to get a goody bag... what's with the ageism?!
Biggins: I thought they'd use 'Who let the dogs out'.

Why do you guys down south always get free drinks and goody bags at the cinema!!!
Nothing like that for us up here at Marmaduke. The only exception was SATC2 and Toy Story3 with free popcorn.

i quite enjoyed this for the most part. the kids loved the dogs dancing at the end; that bit i personally could quite happily have lived without.
it was a fun family film. 6/10
and no free food in Scotland!!

they often dress the film up well at the Empire Leciester Square, at least the day time showings.
Furry Vengeance was full of wild animals when we went to the premier there, and at Knight and Day they were handing out a few goodies.
And the actual director came down to add word before they screened Black Death.
always a good bet, those freebie empire screenings.
fav 5 films of the year - Tenet, Bill n Ted 3, Invisible Man, JoJo Rabbit, ?
