It's definitely here to stay but hopefully not for every single film
I've still got a few Cineworld 3D cinema vouchers so hopefully something good is coming along soon I can use it on.

Kevin: you were lucky enough to get tickets for Movie-Con? They sold in seconds.
Go ahead, make my day - by visiting my blog: http://jacobthehobnob.wordpress.com/

Member number 33 of the "100 free films in 2012" club. I saw 32, which is rather delightful.. I beat Mr. Glass on free films but he narrowly inched me out on total films seen.

Member number 33 of the "100 free films in 2011" club. I saw 20, interestingly enough. My more realistic target was to see more free films than TheyCallMeMrGlass. I lost.

I was on the phone for about 45 minutes I think constantly getting cut off after 10 mins and having to redial and get put on hold again but managed to get through in the end and get a ticket. Others actually went to the BFI and queued which is what I'll probably do next year. Much less stressful. Well worth the effort though.

This year there was one weekend pass (£35) that covered the Friday evening and Saturday and Sunday during the day. This included screenings of The Expendables and Scott Pilgrim Vs The World. They then had four further screenings on Saturday and Sunday evening. These cost extra (about £10 I think). Those films were The Hole 3D, 22 Bullets, Despicable Me 3D and Cyrus. I didn't bother with 22 Bullets and Cyrus, as I'd been in the cinema since just before 10am.

Here's a link that shows you everything we got to see during the main event. http://www.empireonline.com/movie-con/schedule.asp

Where's the London code?

Although I can't do the 12th as I'm getting my hair straightened that day. :(

It's like Despicable me and a few other films SFF has done recently, codes for other areas first and then (if we are lucky) one for london :(
