I've just seen the trailer for the first time on the big screen - it's marvellous. I'm going, and only a significant amount of snow will stop me.

Isn't it Jan 21? That is what the posters on the London tubes say.

OMG I absolutely loved this movie! So dark, and thrilling seeing her descent into madness. Really unhealthy relationship with her mother, another "black swan" driving her mad. Fabulous choreography and music. Deserves every one of its 12 BAFTA nominations and Natalie Portman's Golden Globe. I think this will take the Oscars by storm.

10/10 from us

0/10 to the selfish asshole who arrived at 7:25 and asked us to move down so I had to sit on a broken seat that didn't recline even though I got there at 7 to get good seats, then proceeded to eat his popcorn in individual pieces making them squeak against his teeth for half the movie :wall:

Weekdays: Central London (all West End), West India Quay, Greenwich O2, Vue Islington
Weekends: Greenwich (O2, Odeon, PH), Vue Stratford City, Stratford PH

It's all been done before, and it's probably been done better. Despite that I really loved the Cronenbergian themes, Hitchcock like tone and the gripping plot, which reminded me a little of Carrie meets Perfect Blue.

Portman delivers a stunning, tour de force turn and utterly deserves that shiny little bald guy come Oscar time.

8.5/10

OH doesn't like me to "make a scene" or complain so we suffer in silence.
