Thought the trailer for this looked funny - the voice of the alien is very good!
And it has Jason Batemen in it - I love Arrested Development

Devastatingly disappointed in this film. A few choice funny moments, but it's a lazy, dull, surprisingly mean-spirited film that doesn't want to be original, instead steals every line of dialogue possible from better films for the sake of homaging, so even characters who've never heard of such films quote it.
I wouldn't have minded so much if there were good uses of the amazing cast. Kristin Wiig has nothing to do, Bateman has to be entirely serious, Bill Hader and Joe Lo Truglio have to be overly stupid, David Koechner is painfully abused as a redneck stereotype with no kind of clever twist on such an idea.

Yeah, it's, it's terrible. Really quite terrible. (I don't want to type "Apauling" but there it is)
