Went to see this at the BFI IMAX on Sunday.

One word for the IMAX..... WOW, never been before and thought was totally amazing.

As for the film..... hmm different to say the least, but I did kinda like it. Found it a bit confusing where it jumped from one to the other, but you could get the idea of the story. Loved the visuals when they were fighting and also the music.

I know this has had mixed reviews, so after winning tickets to see it at the IMAX, I went without expecting too much but honestly felt it wasn't that bad.
Did get a little fed up with the repetitive mission talks each time they were about to fight but I did enjoy the visuals that each fight scene offered.
I feel that they could have showed a little bit of dancing from Emily Browning as it did look a bit unbelieveable with her continuous swaying each time we entered a fantasy world. Really liked the soundtrack though and overall would probably rate it 3/5.

yeah, i actually saw this at the IMAX for free (2nd viewing) and its a better experience for the bigger screen. IMAX showcases the movie and its right in your face there.

Still a lazy nonsensical movie, but fun to watch the 'otherworld' sequences that have been worked hard at. I have to agree that this film was crying out for a strong black lead. Something about the textures and colours of the movie would have suited an ebony skinned model with jetblack hair. Hudgens wasnt really the answer to that.
fav 5 films of the year - Tenet, Bill n Ted 3, Invisible Man, JoJo Rabbit, ?

So how can you have an opinion of a film without actually seeing it? TBH they didn't wear any more or any less than what other actresses or actors wear in other films.

What, there's no sex in the film? :( Right, taking off it off my queue. Reviewing just the trailer is fine...but I seen that trailer, I saw no sex in it, review makes no sense. Those girls do look hot though....right putting it back on my queue....
My film reviews here . ......My FMUK 2014 ratings.......My FMUK 2011 ratings.......My FMUK 2013 ratings . ......My FMUK 2012 ratings .

Do you have a VR headset? If so, maybe we can play a physical sports game or even be sports/fitness partners, hit me up if you keen.

Oh, grow up, Glassy.
Go ahead, make my day - by visiting my blog: http://jacobthehobnob.wordpress.com/

Member number 33 of the "100 free films in 2012" club. I saw 32, which is rather delightful.. I beat Mr. Glass on free films but he narrowly inched me out on total films seen.

Member number 33 of the "100 free films in 2011" club. I saw 20, interestingly enough. My more realistic target was to see more free films than TheyCallMeMrGlass. I lost.
