The Friday Night screening is later in the evening but this clashes with Friends with Benefits, if you had planned the double.

My full and very, very long review of Fright Night. If you're the kind of person that thinks a remake should be regarded as a film in it's own right, you might want to avoid this. I compare it with the original a lot.

I think it'll be hard not to compare. I tried with Conan to see it in it's own right and to be honest at least it has a different story but the story wasn't as epic even if the acting was much better. As long as this is still cheesy I'll be happy.

I absolutely love the original but I will be open minded about this remake tonight. Tennant is no Roddy McDowell but his Russel Brand look seems like he will be a fun interpretation.
